World Collapse

Band: World Collapse
Album: Demo Tracks
Label: GSR Records (Formerly known as Gangstyle Records)
Year: 2003/2004
MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/worldcollapse

Germany's World Collapse are truly one of the most indescribably unique bands operating in the realm of present day hardcore. Featuring Frank Olma and Rene Natzel, formerly of True Blue (best German Hardcore Band ever), World Collapse combines elements of this past group with something unthought of before.

True Blue were masters of fusing subtle hardcore melody with the burly heaviness of bands like Leeway, the Icemen, and late-era Cro-Mags and the groove of the Bad Brains. World Collapse takes this foundation and continues to build on it, framing it with dark and brooding electronic pop.

Reaper Records (The Label of Kitzel, former True Blue Singer) released the group's debut EP "Deutchland! Deutchland! Into the Night!" a few years ago.
Besides this they released 2 Songs, which are floating around the Internet as the "infamous Demo". It features two songs, "On the Attack" (originally an True Blue Song) and "The Second Life," the latter of which made it onto the EP. That version features Scott Vogel performing the second verse. The demo, unfortunately, does not.
Both Tracks can be found on two different Compilations from GSR (formerly known as Gangstyle Records) called:
"Givin' up was NEVER an option... - Gangstyle Records Label Sampler Volume 1" - On The Attack
"HARD CORE 2004 - Label Sampler No.2 presented by GSR" - The Second Life.

Free Spirit - Be Yourself Demo '08

Band: Free Spirit
Album: Be Yourself Demo
Label: Triple B Records
Year: 2008

If you haven't heard Free Spirit yet, you'd better do it know, before you miss the Hype!
This Band has just a Demo ( 5 Songs, no longer than exactly 2:14 seconds) out yet.
Sounds like Straight Ahead/NYC Mayhem, why i am saying this? Because they cover them.
The Demo was actually the first release by Triple B Records and is long sold out!

But you can get it here:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/ledpqz

On the other hand, they're recording some Songs for an upcoming 7' on Triple B Records and Lookin'Out Records.
I'm really looking forward to this! I hope you too!

THE LOVELY LADS - DEMO

I've liked this band for a while now, not many people seem to know them. I believe the majority of the members in this band went on to form The Rival Mob, one of the few bands I'm excited about in 2009 (New 7' coming 2010 on SixFeetUnder Records). The Lovely Lads give you a smooth, yet gritty street rock experience. Like Rose Tattoo meets All Skrewed Up/Boots & Braces Skrewdriver Era (I say this because the band covers both Skrewdriver and Rose Tattoo).
If you like Blitz or any of the previously mentioned bands, you'll like this.
Not for the politically correct.

Void - "Time To Die - The Ultimate Collection"

Void was a Washington D.C.-based hardcore punk/crossover thrash band. They were one of the first hardcore outfits to fuse hardcore and some heavy metal in a way most hardcore and metal fans could accept.

VOID consisted of manic lead singer John Weiffenbach, guitarist Bubba Dupree, bassist Chris Stover, and drummer Sean Finnegan (R.I.P.). In November of '81 they cut a demo tape at Inner Ear Studios produced by Ian MacKaye, and were picked up by Dischord Recordss. In February of '82 they made their vinyl debut with three songs on Dischord's Flex Your Head Comp. That spring they went into the studio to cut 12 songs that were released in September of '82 as half of the Faith/Void split album.
In the summer of '83 they recorded an as yet unreleased album for (then) Detroit based Touch And Go Records. VOID disbanded in the fall of '83, with violence at their shows being a factor in the breakup. In '92, Eye 95 Records released their November '81 Inner Ear demo tape as the Condensed Flesh EP.

This is a massive 51 track collection of VOID's two demo tapes, a live set and the infamous unreleased "Potion For Bad Dreams" LP.

Tracks 1-22: "Hit And Run" Demo Tape (1981)
Tracks 23-31: "Inner Ear Studios" Demo Tape (1981)
Tracks 32-40: Recorded Live @the 9:30 Club in D.C. on 2.13.83
Tracks 41-51: Unreleased "Potion For Bad Dreams" LP (1983)
